Founded in 1986, by Clinton Johns, Duroplastic is a privately owned Company which employs around 120 people.

Originally the company started as manufacturer of light weight high performance windsurfing, surfing, paddle ski and any water sport equipment. It moved from manufacturing these sport craft to the supply of composite materials such as Epoxies, Carbon Fibres and Fiberglass / Resins and stopped making watersport products.
